portrait commissions

a commissioned portrait is a wonderful way to create a personalized work of art, either to commemorate a specific life event, or just because you deserve it.

my style of portraiture tends towards creating natural looking images so I aim to portray the subject either as we are seen by others or as we see yourself, and sometimes with a touch of fantasy. i avoid relying on excessive retouching - well, maybe just a little to bring out the best in you.

locations can be your own home which I often favor as this gives he most relaxing environment for you or family and will also give the images a more personal feel. alternatively a suitable location can be used to create a styled image or a studio for effects using creative lighting for a truly artistic and individual look.

final images are available as either framed prints, block mounted wall art, or a collection presented in a book offered as a private memento or a personal gift to a loved one - we also offer gift vouchers for that truly individual present.
